I posted about this subject before. 
The problem is only getting worse. 
The question that is gnawing at my brain is this.

WHEN DID IT BECOME OKAY TO GO THROUGH RED LIGHTS AND WRONG TO HONK YOUR HORN AT SOMEONE WHO DOES?

I don't get. I really don't.

I know we live in a world in which everyone thinks they're entitled...

Entitled to using their cell phones in the library...even though there are signs asking us not to.

Entitled to talking and using our cellphones in movie theaters even though there are signs asking us not to.

Entitled to driving through red lights..even though its been beat into our heads since kindergarten that doing so is a big no-no.

BUT...

here we are...living in a world with people driving through red lights and getting so horribly offended when you beep your horn at them..so offended that they follow along side you, shouting profanities and sticking up their middle fingers-even though you know there is a much better place where their thumb should be....

There is offensive driving.
which is taking on a totally different meaning these days
There is defensive driving. 
which means you should have taken...or should consider taking some sort of self-defense class because there are assholes out there who will want to go all Brad Pitt in Fight Club on your ass because you honked your horn at them.


Remember how excited you were when you first got your license?
More importantly...
Remember all that stuff you learned in Driver's Ed?
